For many NRC members, this weekend means running the Rutherford Relay! This 53.4 mile race, which benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, begins in Eagleville, taking runners along roads and trails through Rockvale, Murfreesboro and ending in Smyrna. NRC will be very well represented at the event!! We have 3 teams of 5 who will be participating. They are as follows:
Team “Nolensville Running Club” is Megan Brazil, David Dye, Ray Whitford, Daryl Middleton, and Kelly Dever
Team “NRC Blistering Speeds” is Travis Blunt, Steve Kraft, Danielle Gutting, Scott Alexander, and Amy Klotz
Team “NRC Sisters with Blisters” is Tandy Blaylock, Adriane Martinez, Lisa Singer, Sareya Kidd, and Jennifer Oubre
Best of luck to all of our teams!!!
And I can’t forget to mention Rachel Eller who will also be running with a team. Go girl!! We wish you luck as well…
If there are other running plans that I hear of, I will post throughout the day! Stay tuned…
Remember that our next NRC race is the local Nolensville Change for a Chance 5K on June 16th. Registration is currently $20 but increases to $25 two weeks before the event. We would love to see all of NRC there, so sign up soon! Check out the Race Calendar tab for the link to the race site.
For those who attend Erin Pryor’s yoga classes on Sundays, there will not be class this week.
