Weekend of March 9th

“Only think of two things – the gun and the tape. When you hear the one, just run like hell until you break the other.”  ~ Sam Mussabini

Inspirational words for those racing Tom King this weekend!!  They say great things come in small packages!! By the sounds of it we should have a large group of NRC runners representing our little town in this race.  Best of luck everyone.

For those looking for training miles.

The only plans I know for Saturday morning right now is Ken is running 6 miles at an 11:00-11:30 pace from Mama’s Java at 8:00 a.m.

Kath is running 8 miles from Mama’s Java at 8 a.m. 10:30ish pace

Run and race happy NRC!!

Wednesday’s with NRC

Every Wednesday, NRC meets at 6:15 pm at Nolensville Town Hall.  If you have not joined us yet but have been thinking about it, make this week your week! We would love to see you.

We run anywhere from 3 miles up to 7 and typically have 4 general pace groups represented which are 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 minute miles. Once each pace group assembles, the individuals in that group decide on mileage and a more specific pace that everyone prefers to run.  Scott always does a great job making sure that all newcomers have someone to run with!

Post run we head to a local restaurant to eat as a group.  Here is our upcoming calendar.

3/13                Mcdougal’s Chicken *NEW!
