What is Miles for Amelia?

Miles for Amelia is a homegrown event hosted by Nolensville Running Club to help a long-time NRC runner and member of the Nolensville community.  Steven Fleming and his wife Kristy Fleming have two twin daughters, Hannah and Amelia.  Amelia was born with a condition known as Spina Bifida, which causes challenges to Amelia’s independence in her home.

Tucker’s House is an organization that specializes in reconfiguring homes so that children with Spina Bifida can successfully and safely navigate and grow within their home environment.   www.tuckershouse.org

Nolensville Running Club is hosting Miles for Amelia open to the public on June 29 from 6am-3pm.  We encourage people to come and support one of our own as Steven has supported NRC and Nolensville businesses through his patronage and loyalty.  Please join NRC in this charitable event!  Go to www.nolensvillerunningclub.org or visit the Nolensville Running Club on Facebook.

Options for Donation

1.  As individual runners you may pay $25 to participate in this fun run at any point.  NRC will be providing refreshments for participants.

2.  Also as an individual runner, you may obtain sponsors from your friends, family, and coworkers to sponsor you per each lap you run around the Nolensville track.  The track is .5 miles around.

3.  If you are unable to participate the day of the event, we encourage you to donate at www.tuckershouse.org.  Just click the “donate” button and designate your donation for Amelia Fleming in the comments section.

3.  As a business owner, you may make a minimum donation of $100 to put your logo on the Miles for Amelia Banner.  This donation can be given through a cash donation, an in kind donation, or a portion of proceeds from profits made during the event (minimum of $100).
