Wednesday, October 10th – A Day To Celebrate!

This Wednesday after our group run, NRC will be celebrating together at Amico’s!  Celebrating what you ask? Celebrating not only the success stories of those who ran in races this past weekend, but also the training that is winding down for many NRC’ers running in the Middle Half this weekend. Let the carb loading begin!!  Before the celebrating however, our run will begin from Martin’s at 6:15 p.m.

This past weekend was filled with sweet victories for many.  Rachel Eller and Roy Tamez celebrated in conquering their first 50k trail run. Unbelievable miles on very difficult terrain! Awesome job!!

Mike and Megan Brazill ran together in Mike’s first marathon, reaching his goal for a sub 4 hour race! Well done, Team Brazill!

Lisa Singer and Danielle Gutting ran the Chicago Marathon both setting PR’s!  All of NRC is super proud of these ladies!!

Last, but definitely not least, is our dear friend Joe Singer who now joins the ranks of several other NRC members as a Boston Qualifier!!!!  An unbelievable effort, dedication, and commitment that all came together for what is the ultimate goal for many competitive runners… running the Boston Marathon.  The hard work is done in the qualifying….now just enjoy the ride Joe!

Wednesday, September 26th

As runners approaching the fall season, we witness the beauty of changing leaves, a bluer sky, and the feel of cooler and crisper air.  Very soon Wednesday evenings throughout our town will begin to reveal fall changes as well when the streets of Nolensville begin to fill with swarms of headlamps running through the neighborhoods!

Come on out to Martins Bar-B-Que this Wednesday at 6:15 pm to run a few miles and then stay for a post run dinner at Amico’s. This week at NRC we will have a guest. David Howe with Superfeet will be joining us with some running insoles that you will be able to try out on your run! There will be a give away as well. Thanks to Fleet Feet for hooking this up for us!

Last but not least…be sure to check out the Runners of the Month tab. Our two newest, Erin Pryor and David Dye have been added.  Thanks to Amy O for alway doing such a fabulous job!!
